Higher Design for Living
Gloria Holloway is currently the Church Administrator at The Voice Church in Laurel, Maryland, under the leadership and tutelage of Bishop W. Andrew Best, Jr. She also hosts and is executive producer for the Higher Design for Living Show (BlogTalk Radio), Higher Design For Living.TV, and Daughters of Zion Threshingfloor Ministry Show - A Time of Intercession.

Gloria is also the Executive Director , Higher Design for Living Personal Development Program, whose goal is to transform, empower, equip and mobilize its participants to fulfill their dreams and goals. She has worked in many professional arenas, including private industry, local government, federal government, and as a entrepreneur.
​
She started the Center of Renewal, Inc. as a non-profit organization in 1998, in Washington, DC and later became incorporated in the state of Maryland in the year 2000. The Higher Design for Living Network was established in 2013, an spawn of the vision of the Center of Renewal Ministries, Inc. which serves as a volunteer organization that offers its services to the re-entry population and those less fortunate that need direction in pursuing their personal goals.

Gloria has worked for the New Revival Center of Renewal as CEO, Vice President, Direct, NRCR Training Institute & Director, Bittersweet Women's Group. She collaborated with Precious Angelic Light, and Sistas United, Inc. She also currently a member of the Executive Committee, Re-Entry Round-Table of Prince Georges County.
From the year 2000 up until the present, Gloria has assisted the re-entry population in working through the process of transitioning from prison to purpose.

She earned a degree in Biblical Studies in 2000, a degree in Business Administration in 2012 focusing on Business Management/Entrepreneurial Track and in 2016, she earned a masters degree in religion focusing on Clinical Pastoral Education/Chaplaincy at the Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Maryland.

Gloria Holloway is the founder and CEO of the Higher Design for Living, LLC, which includes a personal development and mentoring program, and school of ministry for those called to the five-fold ministries.
Gloria Holloway is also Lead Elder at The Voice Church in Laurel, Maryland under the tutelage and covering of Bishop W. Andrew Best, Jr.
She earned a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies in 2000 at Faith Bible College. Gloria graduated in 2012 from Washington Adventist University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Entrepreneurial Track. In 2016, Gloria earned a Master of Arts in Religion (Clinical Pastoral Education). Gloria has been a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society since 2015.

Gloria was the executive director of the Higher Design for Living Re-Entry Program sponsored by Sistas United, Inc. at Greater Beulah Baptist Church in Capitol Heights, Maryland. The program was established in 2014-2016 (Wessita McKinley, the founder transitioned to Glory a year or so later). Gloria also held the positions of Director, of the Women’s Dept, of New Revival Kingdom Church; NRCR Training Institute, and Vice President, of the New Revival Center of Renewal (Re-Entry Program) from 2009-2015.

She established the Women with Purpose Fellowship (WWPF) in August 2013, along with Wanda Wallace, Precious Angelic Light, Inc.; LaTonia Rush, LR Enterprises; and Sonya Carr, My Sisters Keeper. The mission of Women with Purpose Fellowship (WWPF) was to connect with like-minded women who would encourage, motivate, inspire, celebrate, and support women in the fulfillment of their dreams, visions, and aspirations by providing annual conferences and roundtable discussions geared toward spiritual and personal growth topics, and motivational presentations.

Gloria is the founder, host, and facilitator for The “Higher Design for Living Show” (previously aired on Blogtalk Radio) which was established in February 2010, based on Revelations 4:1-2 … Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter…... The show first aired in February 2011 until 2022. The show broadcasted biblical teaching, discussions based on biblical principles, and shows featuring various topics by Gloria, and guest speakers. Many of these broadcasts can be found on this website and on the Podcasts page at Podbean.com.

In early 2008, Gloria organized the Daughters of Zion Threshingfloor (DOZTF) Ministry, an intercessory prayer ministry founded on Isaiah 41:15-16 and Micah 4:13. The ministry broadcasted a live intercessory prayer show on Blogtalkradio.com as well. The broadcasts are now being broadcasted at Podbean.com every Friday. She also hosted annual prayer gatherings and conferences. The focus of the ministry is to pray primarily for church leaders and incarcerated men (especially men of color), and those recently released from the penal system and their families.

The Center of Renewal Ministries (CORMI) was established in 1998 and had its first bible study in 2001 and its first church service in 2002. A few years later, CORMI was instructed by the Lord to close its doors, that Gloria would go through the next level of preparation for her next assignment.
​
In March 1994, under the leadership and tutelage of Bishop Michael V. Kelsey, NSBC. She held the position of administrative assistant/office manager. Gloria established and directed the first administrative support ministry at New Samaritan Baptist Church until her departure in December 1998. During her tenure at NSBC she held positions in many ministries.
​
She is the mother of one daughter Nicole Sargent and son (in-law), Sheldon, four beautiful grandchildren, April, Nishel, Sheldon II, and Cole; 2 great-grandchildren, Zen, and Apollo. Gloria is also an author, facilitator, spiritual counselor, preacher, teacher of the Gospel, and transformational coach.
